Special weather statement in effect for:
- Upsala – Raith
Significant rain possible today followed by strong winds tonight.
A strengthening low-pressure system arriving today from Manitoba will give periods of heavy rain to the area. The weather service says that the specific rainfall amounts remain uncertain at this time. However, 20 to 40 millimetres of rain are possible.
Then tonight a strong cold front will sweep eastward across the area bringing with it strong winds. Wind gusts up to 80 kilometres per hour will be possible with the cold front and for a few hours after the passage of the front tonight into early Monday morning.
