THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay Police Service is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding a death after a body was discovered in a commercial area on Main Street on Sunday morning.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers were originally dispatched to an area in the 400 block of Main Street just after 10:10 am on Sunday, August 30, 2020 after a passerby called 911 about a possible body in the area.

When police arrived they located the body of a deceased male. This is now a major case and members of TBPS’s Major Crimes Unit are investigating.

Police continue to hold a scene and the public is asked to avoid the area if possible during this time.
