August 2, 2020 – Thunder Bay District Health Unit Reports Positive COVID-19 Case

THUNDER BAY – August 2, 2020 – The Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 1 (one) new case of COVID-19 in a resident in the TBDHU Region.

This is Case #98 – a male in his thirties who came into close contact and contracted COVID-19. The man is self-isolating and the TBDHU is doing trace contacting.

The message here is the importance of NOT stepping back from the practices of the past several months.

There have been a number of new cases reported since Thunder Bay and region shifted into the greater opening situations offered under Stage 3.
