KENORA – Environment Canada says that conditions in the Kenora district are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms.
The weather service says that the main threat right now would be ping-pong ball sized hail.

Severe thunderstorm watch in effect for:
- Kenora – Grassy Narrows – Whitedog
- Sioux Narrows – Nestor Falls – Morson
Heavy rain and strong wind gusts are also threats to people and property in the district.
