Fort Frances – Missing 30-Year-Old Man

FORT FRANCES – MISSING – Treaty Three Police are seeking assistance from the public to locate a MISSING 30-year-old male.

Chauncey Lyle Grover, 30, was last seen in the Fort Frances-area on January 18, 2020, around 9 am. Grover is from Couchchiching.

Chauncey Lyle Grover was reportedly wearing a multi-colored toque, a long black jacket, blue jeans, and black high-top running shoes on his at the time he went missing.

Treaty Three Police describe Grover as an approximately 5’3″ Indigenous male with a slim build, Grover weighs 104 pounds, he wears his black hair in braids and has a small tattoo under his left eye.

The Borderland Snowmobile Club has also been contacted requesting help from snowmobiles familiar with the area between 8th street and Frog Creek Road to search for Chauncey Grover.

The Club is asking people interested in helping in the search to meet on January 23, 2020 at Couchiching Firehall at 9:00/9:30 am to organize a search party in searching the bush area to look for Chauncey if anyone would like to help please meet us there. Dress warm and if you have snow shoes and an orange vest it would be wise to bring them.
