Dryden – Khrysti BOUSFIELD and Katlyn MILLER Face Drug Charges

DRYDEN – OPP in Dryden is working to combat dangerous illegal drugs in the community.

On January 22, 2020, at approximately 9:46 p.m. officers from the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, Community Street Crime Unit and the Dryden Police Service executed a search warrant at a Rourke Avenue residence in the City of Dryden.

As a result of the search warrant, Police seized Crystal Methamphetamine, Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), morphine, drug paraphernalia and several firearms. The estimated value of the drugs seized is $3960.00.

Khrysti BOUSFIELD, 37 years old of Dryden, ON has been charged with:

  1. Possession for the purposes of trafficking – Methamphetamine contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act.
  2. Possession of a Schedule I substance – Ecstasy contrary to Section 4 (1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act.
  3. Possession of a Schedule I substance – Opioid X 2 contrary to Section 4 (1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act.

Katlyn MILLER, 25 years old of Dryden, ON has been charged with:

  1. Possession for the purposes of trafficking – Methamphetamine contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act.
  2.  Failure to comply with Judicial release order contrary to Section 145 (5) (a) of the Criminal Code.

Both accused were released on an undertaking and will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on February 24, 2020, to answer to the charges. None of the charges have been proven in court.
