Four Arrested and Crack Cocaine and Loaded Handgun Seized

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay Police arrested four people Tuesday – including one Toronto man – and seized crack cocaine, Canadian currency and a loaded handgun following an investigation into ongoing drug trafficking in Thunder Bay.

Police report that, “Officers with the Thunder Bay Police Service’s Intelligence and Emergency Task Units attended a residence in the zero-to-100 block of Trillium Court just after 8:30 pm on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

As part of the ongoing drug trafficking investigation, officers obtained and executed a search warrant at the residence. Police located four individuals inside the home, all of whom were arrested for possession for the purpose of trafficking without incident.

After searching the home police seized a quantity of crack cocaine, paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking, and more than $2,500 CAD.

Police also located and seized a loaded handgun.

Cloud Charles Duglyss CHISEL, 24, of Thunder Bay is charged with:
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
• Careless Storage of a Firearm
• Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
• Failing to Comply With Recognizance
• Possession of a Firearm/ Ammo Contrary to Prohibition Order
• Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
• Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon
• Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm – Licence
• Possession of a Weapon Obtained by Crime

Joshua COLLINS, 24, of Toronto, is charged with:
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
• Careless Storage of a Firearm
• Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
• Failing to Comply With Condition Undertaking
• Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
• Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon
• Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm – Licence
• Possession of a Weapon Obtained by Crime

Ashley KEJICK-MCKAY, 25, of Thunder Bay, is charged with:
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
• Careless Storage of a Firearm
• Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
• Possession of a Firearm/ Ammo Contrary to Prohibition Order
• Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
• Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon
• Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm – Licence
• Possession of a Weapon Obtained by Crime

Avery Rene MCGUIRE, 23, of Thunder Bay, is charged with:
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
• Careless Storage of a Firearm
• Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
• Failing to Comply With Recognizance
• Possession of a Firearm/ Ammo Contrary to Prohibition Order
• Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
• Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon
• Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm – Licence
• Possession of a Weapon Obtained by Crime

All four appeared in bail court Wednesday and were remanded with future appearance dates.
