OPP Investigating Motorcycle Single Vehicle Accident

THUNDER BAY – On July 24, 2019, at approximately 2:35 p.m., officers from the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Superior North Emergency Medical Service EMS and Oliver Paipoonge Fire and Emergency Services responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision on Highway 130, just west of Vibert Road.

The driver of a motorcycle was westbound on Highway 130 when the driver lost control of the motorcycle and came to rest on the eastbound shoulder of Highway 130.

The driver was transported to hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is continuing.
