Drug Warrant in Dryden Results in Charges for 30-Year-Old

DRYDEN – On April 24, 2019, members of the Dryden Police Service and the Ontario Provincial Police executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at a residence on Wabigoon Drive, Dryden. Police seized Opiates, Methamphetamine, and Canadian currency.

Charged with the following offences is Clayton COUSINEAU, age 30 of Dryden Ontario.

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking – crystal methamphetamine;
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking – morphine;
  • Possession of a Sch. I substance, Oxycodone:
  • Possess Property obtained by crime under $5000.

COUSINEAU was later arrested on April 26, 2019, appeared in Court on April 27, 2019, and was ultimately remanded for a Bail Hearing scheduled for May 1, 2019, in Dryden.

Break & Enter and Theft at local motel leads to charges

On April 26, 2019, the Dryden Police Service received a complaint of an individual kicking in the door of a local motel room and stealing a television. The investigation resulted in Kyle PELLETIER, age 24 of Dryden being arrested and charged with Break and Enter a Place – commit an indictable offence.

PELLETIER was released on a Promise to Appear in Court scheduled for June 3, 2019 in Dryden.
