THUNDER BAY – A robbery at the Copperfin Credit Union has Thunder Bay Police looking for public assistance in finding out the identity of the suspect.

Thunder Bay Police officers were dispatched to the Copperfin Credit Union at 318 Syndicate Avenue South on Friday, April 12 for a robbery that had occurred at about 9:45 am.

Police discovered that a male had entered the credit union and demanded money from a teller. The accused fled from the credit union in a northbound direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The accused wore a black high visibility construction jacket with green stripes, black pants, work boots and black gloves at the time of the robbery.
