THOMPSON – NORWAY HOUSE – NEWS – On March 30, 2019, at approximately 12:20 pm CDT officers were called to a residence in Norway House in response to a report of a disturbance. During the course of this investigation, officers came across a 54-year-old male who was in medical distress.

The 54-year-old male resident, of Norway House, was transported to the nursing station where he later succumbed to his injuries.

RCMP have arrested and charged 27-year-old Dakota Walker, from Norway House, with manslaughter in relation to this incident and have remanded him into custody. He will be appearing in Thompson Provincial court later today.

The Norway House RCMP along with assistance from the RCMP Major Crime Services and the Thompson Forensic Identification Section continue to investigate.
