DRYDEN – Dryden Police Service is requesting the assistance of the public to solve the theft of a stolen truck from a Wilde Street residence. On March 17, 2019, at 3:00 am, the owner of a 2011 grey GMC Truck parked at a residence on Wilde Street, was alerted to a disturbance outside and observed their truck being stolen.

Dryden Police, with the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police, attempted to use spike belts to stop the truck. After a number of sightings, the truck was found abandoned in the Chalet Parking Lot. If you any information regarding this incident, please call the Dryden Police Service or Crime Stoppers

Kingfisher Lake Man Faces Aggravated Assault Charges

29-year-old Nathan SINGLETON of Kingfisher Lake, Ontario is in custody charged with Aggravated Assault on a 21-year-old male. Dryden Police were called to the Comfort Inn on Government Street after a report of a fight in progress in one of the guest rooms. Upon arrival, Police located the accused who was immediately arrested. The victim was taken to the Dryden Regional Hospital with injuries. SINGLETON is set to appear by video in Dryden Bail Court on March 20th, 2019.
