Thunder Bay Police Seek Public Assistance in Circle K Robbery

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – The Thunder Bay Police Service is seeking help from the public to identify a suspect connected to a recent convenience store robbery.

Thunder Bay Police Service report that officers were dispatched to the Circle K convenience store at 346 North May Street just before 9 PM EDT on March 12, 2019, for a reported robbery that had just occurred at that location.

Police discovered that a female suspect had entered the store brandishing a knife and syringe. The suspect approached the store clerk at the counter and demanded money.

The woman exited the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen heading southbound on May Street.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian woman possibly in her late 20s. She is short with a chubby build and dirty blonde hair.

The suspect wore heavy face makeup, a light-coloured jacket with a dark sweater underneath and dark-coloured pants at the time of the robbery.

The Thunder Bay Police Service is releasing surveillance video featuring the suspect.
