Police Investigating Break-in at Southside Maier Hardware Location

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay Police are investigating a break and enter that has led to the theft of paintball guns from a Simpson Street business.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers were dispatched to a reported break-in at Maier Hardware in the 600 block of Simpson Street at about 5:40 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019.

Officers arrived at Maier Hardware to find that someone had gained forced entry into the building, causing significant damage to the front door in the process. No suspects were found inside the business after a search of the premise.

Police believe multiple paintball guns may have taken during the break-in. Maier Hardware has posted on their Facebook page that several paintball guns were stolen.

The investigation continues.
