Thunder Bay Fire Rescue Responds to Fire on McBain Street

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Fire Rescue responded to a kitchen fire at 536 McBain Street this morning.

The call came in at 4:15 am; the first arriving unit’s encountered heavy smoke coming from the home initiating a second alarm being called.

The lone occupant and his dog were already out of the house.

A total of five pumpers, one Aerial ladder, and the Platoon chief responded.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
