Male Suffers Serious Injuries in Assault on Picton Avenue

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to reports of an assault just after 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 5 in the 200 block of Picton Avenue.

Police located an unconscious injured male inside a residence. The male was transported to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with serious injuries.

Investigators located and arrested a suspect at the scene.

Mark Colin ATATISE, 27, of Thunder Bay has been charged with Aggravated Assault. He appeared in court this morning and was remanded into custody for a future court date.

The investigation is ongoing.
