Dryden – Arrest Warrant Issued after Weapons Call at Dryden High School

DRYDEN – On October 24th, 2018 at approximately 09:09 am, the Dryden Police Service responded to a call at the Dryden High School after a student was held at knifepoint in a neighbouring parking lot.

During the incident, the accused demanded that the youth turn over a cell phone. The accused fled without obtaining any property, after observing other witnesses nearby and no injuries were sustained.

Through investigation, Dryden Police has identified the accused to be 30-year-old, Roy Mitchell Fobister. Charges of Robbery with a Weapon and Fail to Comply with Probation, have been laid and a Warrant for his arrest has been issued.

Please contact the Dryden Police Service at 807-223-1137 if you know the whereabouts of the accused. If the accused is encountered, do not confront him, but contact the police immediately.
