Wasaya Airways Announces Partnership with Bearskin Airlines

Thunder Bay, ON – Effective October 22, 2018, Wasaya Airways will be partnering with Bearskin Airlines to offer the enhanced service of non-stop flights from Sioux Lookout, Ontario to Winnipeg, Manitoba up to three times a day.

“At Wasaya, it is important for us to advance and grow,” said Tom Morris, President and CEO of Wasaya. “Since signing our partnership agreement in April 2018 with Exchange Income Corporation, we have worked diligently on our strategic plan to enhance airline services for our guests. Teaming with Bearskin, guests will now have access to additional flight times, allowing flexibility and convenience. It is a positive step forward.”

Flights to Winnipeg will operate seven days a week through Sioux Lookout. The heightened service will provide convenient air transportation to all communities served by Wasaya. In addition, it will allow travelers to connect to larger national and international destinations through Winnipeg.
