Kenora OPP Investigate Death of Twenty-Year-Old Woman

KENORA – On Saturday, October 13, 2018, at approximately 1:00 p.m, officers from the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call to assist Kenora Emergency Services (EMS).

Upon arrival, officers observed the body of a female in a bush area on the north side of Kenora.  The female was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The deceased female is Logan PHILIPCHUK, age 20 from Kenora. A post-mortem will be conducted in Toronto this week.

Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Kenora OPP, Northwest Crime Unit, Kenora Street Crime Unit, Forensic Identification Units (FISU) and Treaty Three Police Service Crime Unit are currently investigating this incident.
