THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police are investigating the recovery of a body from the Kaministiqua River. Police advise that the investigation is in the early stages. The deceased male appears to be in his 40’s or 50’s.

His race is unknown at this time.

There are two photos attached that show the clothing on the deceased at the time of the recovery.

The first photo shows a distinct T-shirt, bush shirt and jacket worn by the deceased.

The second photo shows the brand of shoe worn by the deceased.The brand of shoe is “MOZO”. This brand of shoe is known to be worn by people who work in the culinary field.

Thunder Bay Police are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying the deceased through the photos of the clothing provided.

The investigation continues.
