Kenora OPP Lay Impaired Driving Charges

Too many drivers seem to be willing to risk it when it comes to impaired driving

KENORA – On Tuesday, May 8, 2018, members of the Kenora Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a collision at First Street North and Matheson Street North in the City of Kenora.

Upon arrival, police determined the male driver had been consuming alcohol and he was arrested and transported for further tests.

As a result of this investigation, 65-year-old Don CANFIELD of Kenora has been charged with the following Criminal Code offenses:

•          Driving While Ability Impaired (Alcohol) contrary to section 253(1)(a) and

•          Driving with More than 80 mg of Alcohol in Blood contrary to section 253(1)(b)

The accused is to appear in Kenora Criminal Court on June 14, 2018, to answer to the charges.
