THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay Atikokan Liberals have officially nominated Bill Mauro as their candidate. Mauro is seeking another term as the Liberal MPP for the riding.

The Liberal Government delivered the Throne Speech to kick off the last session of the legislature before the June 7th election.
Atikokan Mayor Brown spoke of the work that Bill Mauro has done for his community highlighting that Mauro stood up to keep the OPG Generating Station open in their community.
The campaign is not officially on yet, as both the New Democrats and Progressive Conservatives have not yet held their nomination meetings.
