Police Seek Pair of Macs Store Armed Robbers

THUNDER BAY – CRIME – Thunder Bay Police are asking for the public to assist in identifying two suspects in a robbery overnight.

Officers were dispatched to the Mac’s Convenience Store located on Arthur Street at approximately 12:30 a.m. to take a report of a robbery that had just occurred.

The 23-year-old male employee reported that two males entered the store. One male approached the till area with his face covered and holding a baseball bat. While this occurred a 28-year-old female entered the store and was approached by the second male who had a knife. The suspects left the store on foot after acquiring some money and cigarettes from the business. There were no injuries.

The first suspect is described as an Indigenous male who is 5’7″ tall with a thin build. He was wearing all black clothing. The second suspect is an Indigenous male described as being 5’10” tall with a thin build, short black hair and bruising on his face. He was wearing a black hoodie, grey pants, and white shoes.
