Youth Faces Charges for Vehicle Theft in Sioux Lookout

SIOUX LOOKOUT – The Sioux Lookout Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a report of a stolen vehicle on Wednesday, November 23, 2017. The vehicle was stolen from the parking lot of Fresh Market Foods in Sioux Lookout. The vehicle was recovered later in the day being driven by a 14-year-old youth.

The youth was arrested and charged with theft over $5000, take motor vehicle without consent, possession of property obtained by crime as well as breach of probation.

The youth is scheduled to appear in bail court in Sioux Lookout on Thursday, November 23, 2017, to answer to their charges.
