To celebrate the 150th anniversary of Confederation in 2017, the Government of Canada invites Canadians to experience nature and learn more about our history. As part of Canada 150, we have a great year of programs and visitor experiences planned which feature more of what we know Canadians love.

Pukaskwa National Park is excited to host the Parks Day Adventure Challenge Competition on Saturday, July 15. Join us from 10am to 3pm for this family event!

Visitors looking for a memorable weekend activity will enjoy using their brain and brawn by participating in the Parks Day Adventure Challenge Competition! Join Pukaskwa National Park for an action-packed day of hiking, puzzle solving and interactive games! Enjoy fun activities that highlight the park’s historical, cultural and ecological heritage. All Adventure Challenge activity stations are located around Hattie Cove Campground and Day Use Area. We recommend coming prepared with proper shoes, sunscreen and a water bottle. The Adventure Challenge is an all-day event but the course itself should take participants about 2 hours to complete.

Be sure to check the park website for up-to-date information at Pukaskwa National Park
