Murder Charges Laid in Sault Ste Marie

PEEL  NEWS – On Friday, May 19th, 2017, Peel Regional Police commenced an investigation into a missing 35-year-old woman from the Brampton area identified as Beata PACIOREK. It is believed she was in the accompaniment of several parties and operating a U-Haul rental truck headed into the Greater Sudbury Area. Witness information has led investigators to the belief that PACIOREK was murdered somewhere during her travels between Brampton and the Greater Sudbury area after an altercation at the roadside of a highway. Her body has yet to be located and an extensive search continues.

On Saturday, May 20th, 2017, Sault Ste. Marie police under the direction of Peel Homicide officers arrested two parties for First Degree Murder. A 28-year-old man identified as Mike MADILL of No Fixed Address and a 37-year-old woman identified as Amy MACDONALD also of No Fixed Address were located and arrested in the Sault Ste. Marie area. Both parties were remanded into custody pending bail hearings on Sunday, May 21st, 2017.
