Northwest Region

There were two new fires confirmed in the Northwest Region by the late afternoon of May 18. Red Lake Fire Number 2 is not under control at 0.1 hectares. Red Lake Fire Number 3 is not under control at 0.3 hectares.

The forest fire hazard is low across most of the region except for an area of moderate to high hazard in the Red Lake and Fort Frances districts.
