THUNDER BAY – NEWS – City Road is currently closed with an expected opening time of near 12:00 Noon today.
Thunder Bay Police are currently investigating a single vehicle collision in which a dump truck struck a hydro pole knocking it down and the wires across the roadway.
Thunder Bay Hydro was called in to deal with the live wires.
City Road at Chippewa Road will be shut down for an undetermined period of time while Hydro deals with repairing the pole and wires.
Thunder Bay Hydro reports that power is out in the area as a result of the collision.
