THUNDER BAY – NEWS – A section of Riverdale Road has closed to through traffic while repairs are made to a broken water main.
Riverdale Road will be closed at the 1490 address going south. There will be access to Riverdale Road from Highway 61 up to this address, but no through traffic. Access to residences north of 1490 Riverdale Rd. and all residences on Riverdale Road West, Kamview Road and Kamwood Drive will be via 20th Side Road only.
Work is expected to complete by 6 pm today.
As a result of the break, residents in the surrounding area may experience low water pressure or discoloured water, and a limited number of customers may have no water service.
Water service may be temporarily turned off for some residents to facilitate repairs and those impacted will be notified.
Notifications have been sent to those directly affected.
Residents are asked to direct questions and report observations of low water pressure, discoloured water, or no water service to Infrastructure and Operations Dispatch at 625-2195.
