THUNDER BAY – EDUCATION – On behalf of the Board of Governors of Confederation College, Chairperson Don Campbell issues the following statement:

The Government of Ontario has introduced a new framework for determining executive compensation in colleges, universities, hospitals, agencies and other parts of the broader public sector. As part of that process, we are reaching out to the college community and the public to receive comments and views.

The Board has developed a draft Executive Compensation Program with consideration for the need to attract and retain the very best leaders possible, in order to deliver high quality public services on behalf of the College and while also managing responsibly.

For more information on the draft Executive Compensation Program, and to provide comments and views, we invite members of the community to visit the Confederation College website at www.confederationcollege.ca.
