Police Seek Stabbing Suspect

Thunder Bay Police Unit at Thunder Bay Court

THUNDER BAY – CRIME BEAT – Thunder Bay Police report that “Just before 8:00 pm on the November 30th, a police officer, while on routine patrol, witnessed a fight at the intersection of Frederica Street and Brown Street between three males”.

When the officer rushed to the scene, the suspects fled on foot.

The victim of the assault required medical treatment for several stab wounds that he suffered in the altercation.The victim was taken to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre by ambulance.

One of the suspects was arrested shortly afterwards in a nearby apartment, the second male was not located.

A thirty-five-year-old local male is in custody and will be attending court in the morning answering to the charge of aggravated assault.

The Police investigation is continuing.
