THUNDER BAY – Common Voice Northwest is looking for participants to join task forces.

Speaking at the Northwestern Ontario Immigration Forum, Common Voice Northwest Executive Director Iain Angus put forward the call for people to be a part of the solution, in joining CVNW Task Forces.

There are opportunities to join four task forces:

Economic Participation
Education and Training
Infrastructure
Youth

The goal is to have participants sharing their wealth of knowledge.

“Over sixty people have already volunteered to be a part of these four Task Forces, however visibly missing are members of the Multicultural and Immigration Network,” shared Angus. “The knowledge and experience of the sector is vital to the work of the Task Forces as we know that part of the solution to the demographic change is to attract people from other countries to migrate to the Northwest”.
