Woman Robbed in Current River

THUNDER BAY = NEWS – Thunder Bay Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at around 1:45 a.m. Sunday morning in the area of Hodder Avenue and Dacre Street.

Police report that a thirty-seven-year-old woman was approached by two individuals who demanded money and cigarettes from her.

The woman handed over some cigarettes, and was then was struck by one of the suspects. The woman reported the incident to the police later on Sunday morning.

The woman told police that one of the suspects is “described as a Native Canadian male with a small amount of facial hair, possibly a goatee, and a pointy nose. He was wearing a black baseball cap with white lettering and a black sweater”.
