Thunder Bay Police Unit at Thunder Bay CourtTHUNDER BAY – CRIME – Thunder Bay Police report that they have made an arrest following an investigation that started in August 2016. The TBPS Cyber-Crime Unit started their investigation after identifying what were suspected to be pornography videos appearing online.

Investigators sought and got a search warrant on October 6, 2016 for an address in the 500 Block of Dawson Street. As a result of that search, police seized a computer, two laptop computers, four external hard drives, six thumb drives, an SD card, and a number of DVDs and CDs which are now undergoing further investigation.

In a media statement, police report that “Denis Jude LAMONTAGNE, 58 years old was arrested and charged with Make Available Child Pornography and Possession of Child Pornography”.

Denis Jude LAMONTAGNE appeared in court on Friday, and has been remanded with a future court date.
