BLAINE, Minn. – Cole Cutler had a pair of goals and set-up another to help the St. Louis Selects defeat the Thunder Bay major midget Kings 4-2 Saturday at the North American Prospects Hockey League Showcase in Blaine, Minn.

St. Louis opened the scoring with the lone tally of the first period and then added another in the second to go up by a pair through two.

After Cutler made 3-0 early in the third, Thunder Bay got on the board midway through the final frame, on a Jayden Wojciechowski effort.

The Kings came right back with another 44 seconds later to pull within one as Garrett Gammond picked up his second in NAPHL action.

Cutler sealed the decision for the Selects however with 4:18 remaining to round out the scoring.

St. Louis outshot Thunder Bay 29-24 in the contest with Ryan Fanti suffering the setback in net for the major midgets.

The 0-3 Kings will go in search of their first NAPHL victory tonight as they take on the Arizona Bobcats at 6:30 p.m.
