Murder Charges Follow Sudden Death Investigation

THUNDER BAY – CRIME – The Thunder Bay Police Service has made an arrest in the death of twenty-year-year old Leslie Noah Moonias. The young man was located on McKellar Street on Thursday morning.

Kirsten Faith Wesley, a twenty-year-old has been arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder by the Criminal Investigations Branch in relation to the deceased male that was located on McKellar Street yesterday morning.

The investigation has revealed that this homicide was a result of a domestic violence related incident.

Wesley was located by investigators yesterday afternoon in the area of Ogden Street and McKenize Street and was detained for questioning.

She was arrested at the Balmoral Police Station as a result of the investigation. She appeared in court this morning and has been remanded into custody.

The postmortem has yet to be completed. The investigation is ongoing.
