City Moves Tragically Hip Livestream Indoors to Community Auditorium

THUNDER BAY – ENTERTAINMENT – If you are planning to gather to watch the Tragically Hip livestream, then lining up early is likely in your future.

On Friday afternoon, the City of Thunder Bay announced: Due to the forecast of inclement weather, the live-streaming of The Tragically Hip Concert – A National Celebration will be MOVED indoors to the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium.

Live streaming of the concert starts at 8:30 pm on Saturday, August 20, doors open at 7:30 pm.

Bring your friends and family and be a part of Canadian music history. This is a FREE event and food concessions will be available. Come early to get the best seats – huge crowds are expected and admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Environment Canada states the forecast calling for cloudy with 60 percent chance of showers in the morning and early in the afternoon. Periods of rain beginning in the afternoon. High 17. UV index 4 or moderate. For Saturday night, periods of rain. Wind becoming northwest 20 km/h near midnight. Low 11.

The move takes the event from the five thousand seat venue of Marina Park to the 1800 seat Community Auditorium.
