Thunder Bay Police Seek Hit and Run Driver

THUNDER BAY –Thunder Bay Police Service Thunder Bay Police report that on Saturday evening, (30 April 2016) at about 10 p.m., there was a rear-end type collision at the intersection of Harbour Expressway and Memorial Ave.

A beige 2008 Ford Escape, with Ontario licence plate BWMD859 was eastbound on the Expressway and struck a stopped white Ford sedan. The Ford Escape was described by witnesses as being driven recklessly prior to the collision. It left the scene immediately.

The three occupants of the sedan, aged 21 to 32 were transported to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre by ambulance with what turned out to be minor injuries.

Police are asking the driver or owner of the vehicle to contact police immediately.
