Kenora MP Hosting Clinics Across Riding

KENORA – Newly elected Kenora MP Bob Nault is hosting community clinics through December across the Kenora Riding.

If you wish to set up a meeting for the constituency clinics you should call Joel Tallerico at (613)-996-1161. Nault is also reminding residents that sending a letter to him is completely free. All you need to do is address it to Bob Nault, Member of Parliament, Kenora Riding and no postage is required.

Bob Nault says, “As people might recall, I made a commitment during the campaign that we would start having constituency clinics around the riding. They give people the opportunity to sit down face-to-face with their member to talk about issues that are a concern to them, and that confront us as Canadians.”

The clinics will be held in Dryden on Monday, December 14, in Machin on Tuesday, in Sioux Lookout on Wednesday, in Red Lake on Thursday and in Kenora on Friday, December 18.

“These constituency clinics give us an opportunity to hear from our community about issues that are important to them like employment insurance, Revenue Canada issues, immigration issues and passport issues. These are all the things that reflect the relationship between people and their Canadian government,” said Nault.

The clinics are open to anyone who wishes to participate; however, an appointment is required.

While offices are still being set up in northwestern Ontario, Nault has moved into his office in Ottawa. The office is located at 230 Confederation Building.

Nault will spend the next two weeks in Ottawa while the house is sitting. He will then return in time for the constituency clinics as well as hosting Christmas parties. There will be a free Christmas party in Kenora, Dryden, Red Lake and Sioux Lookout open to all community members.

The Christmas party in Dryden will be on Monday night at the Sunset Room, at the Best Western.

The party in Sioux Lookout will be on Wednesday in the basement of the Sioux Lookout Legion. Red Lake’s party will be on Thursday, at the Red Lake Legion. Finally, Kenora’s will be on Friday night at the Super 8 Minis Hall.

All Christmas parties will begin at 7:00PM CST.
