The band took off in 2009 with full force; playing show after show with an aggressive and technical approach to their music. They are best known for their down-tuned and percussive sound that is quintessential to the modern metal subgenre of “djent”.

The Vilification recorded and released their first EP titled “You Can’t Force Fate” in 2012, and experienced multiple line-up changes as well as a hiatus following this release. In 2014, The Vilification took to the studio in aims of recording new instrumental material to showcase as future audition templates. Soon enough, the pieces fell into place and led Daniel Racco (drums), and returning frontman Ben Tranter to the group. The Vilification is set to release their latest EP “Dimensions” in 2015, and return to the stage firing on all cylinders.
