THUNDER BAY – We are writing on behalf of the Kii-Chii-Ak-Koo-Zeen marathon, a team managed by (5) Cat Lake First Nation members. Members who launched a walk to raise awareness to remote First Nation people who are diagnosed with cancer and don’t get proper health care.

The walkers seek financial donations to purchase their needs on their long journey ahead of them (shoes, foot wear, gas for their transportation, etc.) We are looking to fundraise for their entire relay to Vancouver, BC. Any amount is appreciated

We are touched by this endeavor set out by Joyce Wesley- Peters, youth Wilfred Wesley Jr, Seth Peter, Christopher Oshag and Dylan Oombash.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Cat Lake Band Office during working hours. 807-347-2100 and ask for one of the council.

We look forward to hearing from you.
