THUNDER BAY – SPORTS – Staal Foundation Open organizers are making a call for volunteers for this year’s tournament scheduled for July 13th through the 19th, 2015.
Many positions are available including scoring, hosting and caddying to name a few. Interested persons can visit staalopen.ca and register, indicating their area of preference.
“We had a great group of volunteers last year, “ says Gloria Sherban, Volunteer Chair.
“We are counting on these same people and more to come out and help.”
Caddie Master Rick Bevilacqua agrees saying that more than 80 caddies will be needed this year. “We encourage anyone who has an interest to sign up as soon as possible,” says Bevilacqua. “This is an incredible opportunity to get inside the ropes and work closely with some of the best prospects in the game and tomorrow’s Web.com Tour and PGA TOUR stars,” continued Rick.
This year, event volunteers are sponsored by Janzen’s Pharmacy.
