THUNDER BAY – SPORTS – NDC Thunder Bay are proud to be sending two athletes to World Junior and U23 Championships in Kazakhstan later this month.

After three selection races this past weekend Cross Country Canada named ten athletes to the Junior team and eight athletes to the U23 team.

First year NDC Thunder Bay athlete Julian Smith will be a part of the Junior team. Veteran NDC Thunder Bay athlete Scott Hill will return to the International stage as a part of the U23 team this year.

The Canadian teams will be led by Thunder Bay Head Coach Timo Puiras. Championships take place in Kazakhstan Feb 2nd -8th, 2015.
