THUNDER BAY – UPDATED – 1:30PM EST – The ATAC Building is now open.
Lakehead University students get a short break today. A water pipe in the fire protection system of the ATAC building has burst.
As a result, the entire system must be taken off-line repair the pipe. This means that all floors will be without fire protection and must be evacuated.
The security team is working to assist with the evacuation.
