THUNDER BAY – ENTERTAINMENT – It is a sure sign of cold weather in Thunder Bay. The skating pond at Prince Arthurs Landing is opening.

The waterfront skating rink at Prince Arthur’s Landing officially opens tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 22. With the rink opening, the City is encouraging residents to come down to the waterfront and enjoy the many activities and facilities available to the public.

“The rink offers fun for those both young and old alike, we’re excited to have it opening for all to enjoy over the winter months ahead,” said Kathy Ball, Operations Coordinator at Marina Park. “There is so much to do down here – residents can enjoy a wonderful meal, or snack while taking in the unparalleled views and natural surroundings of Thunder Bay’s waterfront.”
