DRYDEN = SPORTS – The club has traded forward Hank Bouchard and newly acquired defenceman Mark Dryer to the English River Miners for defenceman Ben Smaha and forward Eric Masters.

Smaha is 6’3, 203-pounds and 19-year’s old.

Smaha will add some needed size and toughness on the blue line, while Masters is a high energy 20-year-old who will get in your face.

The GM Ice Dogs are also pleased to welcome back Zachary Kercz.

The 19-year-old forward was a key part of the Ice Dogs last season, where he recorded 8-points in 6-playoff games.

He was traded to Trenton in the off-season.

Kercz was later dealt to the Stouffville Spirit where he played in four games.

He’s 5’9 and 165-pounds.

Kercz will add some offensive punch to the line-up and is also known for getting under the opposition’s skin.

The Ice Dogs are excited to have all three players on the roster and look forward to their debut in the line-up
