Food Trucks Add to Thunder Bay Scene

THUNDER BAY – The streets of Thunder Bay have come alive with amazing food from the growing number of food trucks that have joined our already thriving restaurant options. Starting next Thursday, at Thunder Bay City Hall, City Hall Sounds will return for a second year.

City Hall Sounds brings music, food, and fun to Thunder Bay City Hall in the Heart of the Fort William Business District.

Come Spring time City Council will make a final decision on the Municipal Golf Course.
City Hall Sounds Returns to McGillvary Square every Thursday in August.

City Hall Sounds is back by popular demand! Running each Thursday in August from noon to 1 pm, the annual event will once again bring live music, food trucks, community partner booths and art activities to McGillivray Square in front of City Hall.

Everyone is invited to attend –City Hall Sounds is a free community event and open to the public. And it’s not just about live music, food, and fun – City Hall Sounds is also about building a safe community, as vibrant, well-trafficked public spaces play a vital and proven role in crime prevention. City Hall Sounds begins Thursday, August 7, featuring special guest performer Robin Ranger.

City Hall Sounds is presented by the Crime Prevention Council’s Strong Neighbourhoods Working Group.
