THUNDER BAY – The PGA TOUR Canada Event is getting into full swing today as the PGA TOUR Canada professional get out on Whitewater today for their first practice round. The Staal Foundation Open, presented by Tbaytel started with two Pro-Ams on Monday and Tuesday which offered the touring pros their first look at the incredible conditions at Whitewater Golf Club.

PGA TOUR Canada professional Garret Sapp from Long Beach California is just one of the fantastic golfers on hand for this week’s golf action.

The course is in fantastic condition. Jeff Monday, speaking at the Can-Op Pro-Am Tuesday night commented that the course, the look and the feel of the Staal Foundation Open is first class, and it is “Fantastic”.

The event is headed for success, with the hard work of a lot of people. The Tournament Board and volunteers are making Thunder Bay proud.

The PGA TOUR Canada professionals are just that, professionals and are helping to put a classy effort together.

The golf pros are reaching out across Thunder Bay, to make a difference in our community. The funds raised are staying right here in the city, and there are a host of local charitable groups which will benefit.

Get out to Whitewater this week, and you will see top ranked golf, and have fun.
