THUNDER BAY – CIVIC POLITICS – Larry Hebert, Councillor at Large in Thunder Bay is seeking a third term on City Council. Larry stopped in at the NetNewsLedger Newsroom to talk about the issues.

Hebert asserts that there are several important issues that he wants to keep working on and he wants to ensure that Thunder Bay gets the Event Centre right.

Larry Hebert as been involved with Lakehead University Athletics for 47 years. He has served for eleven years as President of the Thunder Bay International Baseball Association. Hebert was a key member of the team which brought the very successful World Junior Baseball to Thunder Bay in 2010.

A firm baseball, and hockey fan, Hebert predicts that the Toronto Maple Leafs will win the Stanley Cup in 2067.

Hebert is a strong supporter of the Youth Centre, and would like to see that project effort continue.
