Jamaican authorities in a media release state that Taylor Rankin died Tuesday following a cliff diving accident.
The Jamaica Constabulary Force has reported that Rankin was fatally injured after jumping off seaside cliffs in the western tourist town of Negril.
Investigators in Jamaica report that around 4:25PM, Rankin, who was accompanied by a group of friends, jumped into the water. Jamaican Police stated that they believe he miscalculated his jump and hit rocks instead.
Taylor Rankin was taken to hospital and died while being treated.
